This 100 g record represents the 100 × 1 g CombiBar format. Valcambi launched CombiBar in 2011 as a sheet of precisely scored precious-metal segments. The classic 100-gram silver version divides into one hundred individually marked one-gram bars without specialized cutting equipment.

The format makes divisibility the central piece of engineering. Every segment must preserve recognizable weight, fineness, and refinery identity after separation, so the grid is both the visual design and the product’s practical purpose.
